Hey everybody. So I attended the interview I told you about in my first post which was held on Friday - November 9th, 2007 and realized that it wasn’t a job I’d enjoy doing for the most part of my life. I realized this half-way through the talk when they guy giving the speech started covering topics on software development, and the form I had in my hand stated that I was required to write an essay about my passion for computer softwares.

I am not a hypocrite, you see so I can’t just go around writing about subjects I’m not passionate about! The only reason I attended this interview was because my previous college counselors declared that this would be the perfect job for me. Yes, I know the course I took covered most on computers, but that doesn’t make it my passion! I stated this clearly to my counselors, yet they keep pushing me towards these types of jobs. Grrr.
Call me choosy, but I’m not woozy. Don’t ask. I don’t even know what that means. I’m just frustrated. Anyway, enough about me.
I’ve decided to talk about HELIUM today (a get-paid to write site) for all of you who are passionate about writing. This site lets you be your own editor, and write about anything ranging from articles to short stories to recipes, etcetera. The best part is, you get paid for every submission you make. You earn even more when people rate you and view your entries. You also receive earnings earned by your referrals.
Helium membership is free and includes:
- Recognition for your knowledge and creativity
- An audience of millions of readers
- A rich and supportive community of writers
- Opportunities to compete for freelance assignments
- Feedback from a global audience
- Earnings and publishing possibilities
*Tip: I earned a lot just posting my opinions on the debate section.
